Mario Rönsch throws, without further ado, the well-established rules of the Electro overboard – as the son of the much cited French Touch he can allow himself to do so – Good or poor taste, the thin line between Pop and Underground, the bean-counting categorization of Rock and Electro– Mario Rönsch is not interested in all of this. He has an unmistakable sense of the fusion of influences and their merging into each other and he acts in a radically open way.
If you see the things in that light, it is no wonder that his sets are a pleasure for your ears and an invitation for your legs. A kind of Electro opera that is embellished with religious and baroque symbols and its melodies are shredded by the Beats, the Electro prescribes a demonstration lesson and the Pop is given a load of Botox. His distinct features are fed Four to the Floor-Killerbeats, a wishfully demanding Hookline and maximum driving potential towards Dancefloor.
